The hard work has been done for you (fairly hard stuff!); ready to cab, create belt buckle, or use as millinery embellishment. This material takes a nice polish and cabochons from this sell well. These slabs would make interesting bathroom/kitchen/laundryroom accent tiles or framed as artwork on the walls. TOLPA has one cabochon still available that was cut from this material (see under "finished stones" tab). Sardonyx is layers of different types of chalcedony: Sard (reddish layer that is indistinguishable from carnelian) and Onxy (black). Photographed wet to show how colors appear once polish, and from both sides. Slabs are approx 1/2" thick.
