Hand cut here at Tolpa from a 13.5 carat natural amethyst crystal. This gorgeous, sparkly 7.5 mm amethyst weighs 1.65 carats and is 5.76mm deep. Brilliant cut. Original crystal before faceting is shown in photos. The original crystal came from Las Vigas in Veracruz, Mexico. Natural, not treated, with all metaphysical properties intact. Photographed from all sides, in artificial and flash light. An 8 mm setting is recommended. Amethyst is the birthstone for February. Ancient wearers believed it protected them from intoxication; thought to be a protective stone.
